Oh, I rather agree with Dave - nice portrayal of the light of both trees!
Are you still working on this piece Luthien?

Re: Blender again
I saw this thread the other day as it showed up in my email (for some reason), and then another artist friend of mine says he is looking into this program: http://curvy3d.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and I wondered if you knew anything about this one! Can't wait to see your fu...

Re: Painting of Queens of Numenor
Oh WOW, what a find Meneldur! My artistic abilities lie more in crafts than they do in fine arts stuff - so I get it!
I rather like this!
I am so happy about your move into a house in northern Georgia this summer too - CONGRATS!!

This is really wonderful Luthien - lots to "digest" there, for sure! I will reread this again and reflect more when I can!

Re: Blender again
This looks quite luminous Luthien!
Yes, I understand you are working on backgrounds and even the Green Mound itself (nice start on the grass too). This is going to be awesome when complete!

I like the forging of this concept this far Luthien! Thanks for sharing, I look most forward to your progress (and Dave providing those quotes I am sure will be helpful)

Re: Mormeril
It seems many of us have had some layers peeled off this week, pretty intense that last full moon - wow!! Lovely poem and while I do not yet know my latest revealing (and possibly "download"), I look forward to knowing more - about your unfolding as well Ellenar!

Re: Blessed Realm mural
Meneldur, OMG that WOULD be great hehe! Even an astrologer would agree with that! Have loved the full moon setting while Jupiter and Venus are rising at around 5am right now - beautiful! The energy is intense right now (especially for Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn), but still beautiful hehe! Lu...

Re: pictures for the ROTR
Wow Luthien - I think I have seen Varda Elentari very similarly to this! I have seen a few renditions (many are very good) - this is one of them!
Can we see why she was the favorite of the Elves?

Re: pictures for the ROTR
Luthien, I think you are onto something with "photographic realism" hehe - you really do capture that, perhaps because of all the layers of color apparent in your work! As for the final version of the Moon Vessel piece, I got an eery feeling: I think Van Gogh would be proud of that! ;-) Any relation...

It seems Alan Lee, John Howe and Ted Nasmith have earned pretty nice livings on Tolkien-related art! Yes, they are absolutely exceptional but I just want to mention that everything is possible! Thanks for sharing once again, I hope DeviantArt is a good experience for you!
