I brushed up the hair, and her face as well. Something about it was off but I couldn't figure out what it was, but it looked somewhat unnatural, like a mannequin. So I overlaid a photo of someone's head in the exact same position and angle ... and found that the perspective was just a tiny bit off. It's very subtle but makes a load of difference! Now her face has become alive, so to speak.
It now only needs some work on the shadows and then it's ready as far as I'm concerned. I'll show it to Ted Nasmith, he has offered to comment on my work
