Yavanna corn dolly

Some of you may have seen the Yavanna corn dolly I made for our altar last Yavië in this thread. 

That was my first attempt at working with wheat. I found the pattern at this site:

The instructions I used were Project #2 - "Little Angel." There is another angel pattern, but it doesn't retain the seed heads of the grain.

I  am inspired now watching the grain fields turning gold. Perhaps I will be able to glean some stalks from  a kindly farmer's field this year rather than buying from a craft supply store.
