Warwick Goble (artist)

Post by Meneldur Olvarion »

From my wife Dineen (Niennildi Oarnen):
I saw this man's work in my Dover sampler this week. I liked his "dragonfly people" and went to learn more about him for you.

I'd swear this man captured an image of Nessa and Vana in his "Chaucer's Angels."

A bio.

Gallery.

The art is so beautiful.  The use of color is stunning, pure yet translucent, as if he's captured a soft glow of light and it shines gently out from the canvas behind the pigment.  Something like Thomas Kinkade, but more subtle and ethereal.  Lovely links, thanks for sharing :-)
