Thought I'd share a piece of music from a failed project I was working on some time ago.
The piece once had a home on my artist page at Soundclick, but that page is no more, recently uploaded it to Youtube:

The song is called Crystalmir Morning and while it was written with another fictional world in mind like most creative endeavors it easily bridges gaps in personal gnosis.

I find it very evocative and haunting (but in a calming sort of way). It indeed "calls out".
I don't get though what's 'failed' about it? It doesn't give that impression at all.
