Good project for Yavië. You can use the green husks from the yummy sweet corn that is abundant this time of year.

While Rowan and I were cruising the store for Yavie Simple Feast food, I darn near tripped over a tall box sitting right next to the sweet corn display.  It had been put there so people could shuck the corn right in the store, and was almost full of freshly peeled husks!  I grabbed about 20 of 'em!  I should have no problem with any husk based project for awhile, I'd imagine...    To those of you who've worked w/ them before, can they be used dry, or do they have to be fresh?

They're more pliable fresh, but if they're dry, you can soak them.
